Welcome to Rolfe's Nursery School - Message from the Headmistress
Rolfe’s Nursery School strives for excellence in all areas of the curriculum. We plan and teach a ‘needs based’ programme, catering to each child’s specific educational requirements. We provide a warm and caring environment for both child and parent, making sure that caregivers feel involved in their child’s learning, and part of our Rolfe’s Nursery School community. We provide a high quality learning environment, with experienced and motivated staff, ensuring a selection of rich and varied resources available to every child. We teach and plan a programme covering all aspects of the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and we follow the Montessori philosophy.
We create an environment and opportunities at Rolfe's Nursery School that inspire a love of learning by encouraging each child’s natural curiosity.
Each child is treated as an individual and teachers in turn establish a one-to-one relationship of interest, concern and support with each child.
Rolfe's Nursery School recently under went an OFSTED educational inspection, we received an outstanding result in all areas. (Please see link below)
Our school interior has spacious, open and bright classrooms with lots of natural light. An enclosed play area is directly off the classrooms, which offers secure outdoor access.
