Head’s Blog 1st September 2020

Welcome back, to our wonderful children and families. I hope that you had a fantastic summer holiday and are ready to join us for our new term.

I wanted to take this opportunity to outline our covid19 measures this term, that further enhance what we had in place in June 2020:

  • Separate entrances and exits for our younger and older children- reducing congestion and assisting with social distancing
  • Children are welcome to bring in some ‘indoor’ shoes to wear- helping us to reduce germs in our environment
  • Staggered drop offs and picks ups will continue, to ensure that we are compliant with Governance guidance
  • To minimise staff contact- we will host most of our briefings and meetings online
  • Hand sanitising stations are located throughout our building

We are super excited to start our online learning journals for the children, which will enable the practitioners to share children’s  progress and development, with parents, at home. We look forward to sharing more information with parents and carers during our scheduled training this month.
